Peri Peri Steak and Roasted Butternut, Red Onion and Fat Free Feta.

This Peri Peri Steaks are quick, simple, and tasty dinner to make.Easy to make, easier to eat!!!! Peri Peri marinades gives any protein of choice a sharp, spicy flavor. The sauce originates from Portugal and many countries have their own versions. Peri Peri is mainly a combination of a kick of fresh red chilies with a refreshing taste of citrus. 

 

 

 

Peri Peri Marinade:
* 3 tsp crushes garlic
* 1 tsp ginger * 2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
* 2 tsp smoked paprika
* 2 tsp tomato ketchup * 1 tsp salt * 1/2 tsp black pepper * 1/4 cup lemon juice
* 1 tbsp olive oil
* 1 tbsp vinegar
* 4 T-Bone steaks
Directions
1. Marinate the steak in the peri peri marinade and leave for a few hours. I like to leave overnight.
2. Grill steaks, over medium heat for 6-8 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness.
Roasted Butternut, Red Onion and Feta

1 small butternut cut into thick wedges with skin.
2 red onions cut into wedges.
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp suki sugar
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 tbsp @woolworths_sa Potato Seasoning
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Fat Free Feta @woolworths_sa
Place the butternut and onion wedges on an oven tray. Add olive oil, suki sugar, salt, pepper and @woolworths_sa Roast Potato Seasoning. Roast the butternuts and red onions for 15 to 20 minutes, turning once, until tender. Add the fat free feta when serving and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
The roasted butternut is a pleasant side dish when served with the Peri Peri Steak for lunch or dinner.
