Oat and Protein Scones

Instead of an oat and protein porridge try these oat and protein scones on a Sunday morning. I love scones maybe it’s just a British thing but they are a quintessentially English breakfast or a tea treat. These scones are so easy to make and are protein packed and taste delicious with fat free cottage cheese and fresh blueberries.

Oat and Protein Scones {Wheat Free & Sugar Free}

2 cup Oat Flour  1/2 cup Vanilla Protein Powder  1/2 cup Rolled Oats 1/2 tsp Baking Soda 1/4 tsp Sea Salt 3 tbsp Coconut Oil 1 Egg White 1/4 cup Fat Free Yogurt 2 tbsp Fat Free Milk 3 tbsp xylitol  Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.  Mix all the dry ingredients together and all the wet ingredients together. Add the wet to the dry and fold together.   

Roll the dough and cut with a scone cutter. Glaze with egg yolk that is left.  Bake for 12 -15 minutes. Watch the tops! Enjoy with a cuppa coffee, tea, spread fat free cottage cheese and topple with some blueberries.
