NICE CREAM

In summer all I want is Nice Cream. Nice Cream is blending frozen bananas in a blender or food processor until the results have the exact texture of soft serve ice cream. This soft serve ice cream is a healthy dessert option as it has NO heavy cream or added sugars, and it is fat-free, dairy-free, vegan, raw and gluten-free. If you add a little fat—such as almond butter or coconut milk—it can even start to taste pretty similar to ice cream. Add different flavours and protein powder and you have a dessert which is yummy and really really good for you.  

Nice Cream 1. Let the 3 bananas ripen before peeling. Once ripe, peel the bananas, cut into slices and freeze them. 2. When the bananas are fully frozen, toss them into a blender, add 1/4 tsp vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Mix until you achieve a consistency that resembles soft serve. If your blender is having trouble processing, you can add up to 1/4 cup fat free milk milk. Once the soft-serve texture is reached, you can eat it immediately or scoop it into a container and freeze an additional 30 minutes or so, then scoop out with an ice cream scoop. This will give you a firmer banana ice cream texture. 3. At the blending process you can also make lots of new flavors of nice cream. I like to pack mine with ISO Protein Powder Vanilla or chocolate. Chocolate Banana Ice Cream: Original recipe and 1 tbsp cacoa powder and 1 tbsp Chocolate ISO Whey Powder. Mint Chocolate Chip: Orginal recipe add 1/8 tsp pure peppermint extract, 1/4 tsp green food coloring, 1 tbsp Chocolate whey powder and stir in chocolate chips or cacao nibs after blending. Almond Butter: Make the original recipe below, adding 2 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp Vanilla whey powder and top with raw almonds. Strawberry: Make the original recipe below, adding 1/2 cup strawberries of choice and 1/8 tsp pure vanilla extract and 1 tbsp Vanilla whey.
